Finished setting up LCD monitors that replaced my 19" & 14" CRTs this morning.

Poor cat did his "jump on my keyboard, rebound off the printer, land on the nice & warm CRT trick" before I could catch him, the look on his face as he teetered on the edge of the LCD a split second before the crash was priceless, poor bastard.

He won't come near the computer now.

I'm imagining what your post would be like if your cat had balanced on the LCD longer and tipped it off the desk:

FUGGIN' BASTARD CAT BROKE MY BRAND NEW LCD!!!!!! >(

He'd gotten really fast so I couldn't stop him, he knows it pisses me off, but I'd let it slide cuz of the skill & speed he'd developed with his manuver.

Yep my dog used to do the same thing to get on my bed till the one day I didnt have a quilted cover on and just the sheets. He fell right off and would not get on my bed after that. But the cat on the monitor sounds much better. :)

It looks pretty fuzzy (Envision POS 3 years old, almost free after rebate from Staples after rebate/coupon, etc), wife told me to get rid of it before I went blind:D

Couple of weeks ago wife was wisiting her sister for the weekend with the kiddos, I come home from work, fried some shrimp & was standing in the living room watching something on the TV, eating & wham, something warm & soft landed on the back of my head, it was the cat, he'd been really lonely with the house empty, was mad that I was eating instead of paying attention to him & had launched himself from a chair, landing with his hind legs on my shoulders & front paws on the sides of my head, hanging on for his life (thank god he's been declawed).

I thought I was in an episode of the X-Files & something was trying to suck out my brain.
