is there a good free way to calibrate the colors on an LCD monitor? Mine is showing somewhat dull, washed out colors. I've seen these tools that cost $1000's that graphics people use, but I don't need anything fancy. Maybe an online guide/tutorial/tool?

I apologize - I was in a bit of a rush and did not specify. The first link is accurate, the Avia Guide to Home Theater has proper visual calibrations for LCD TV's, Plasma TV's, and even ye old tubes. I use it frequently to calibrate 32-51" LCD TV's. After running the wizards you'll be able to make even the cheap POS westinghouse LCD panels look great.

I want to calibrate my LCD monitor for my PC though. Will this still work?
