LCD makes me dizzy?

In response to the original poster, the lcd slightly delays what happens on the screen. Your brain expects it to happen immediatly. Because the frame of reference is not syncing up with what your brain thinks should be happening, you get seasick. It takes a few weeks to get used to the delay. Once you have gotten used to it, it is equally hard to go back.
 
I meant to mention you might be a victim of PSE (photosensitive epilepsy) due to the flickering backlight (anywhere from ~150 to 800 Hz PWM to reduce brightness). LEDs are the same way although their PWM rate might be different, I'm not sure.
