LCD HELP!

i have a samsung 930b hooked up to my 6600gt and i get no video from the dvi slot. i also have a compaq 7500 vga crt monitor hooked up and it works over analog but when i use vga->dvi adapter it doesnt work in the dvi slot either. is there a setting i should enable or whatever to get the dvi slot working?

nvidia panel can see the 930b but whenever i try to put signal to it nothing gets displayed. sometimes when i do analog/dvi connect it will sometimes put a picture up but only for ~ a second. i installed the 930b driver.

hmmm... search for something called DVI Recover. There should be a zip file floating around. Let me go look.

I've never used it and the FAQ is down but I think you have to make a bootable floppy or cd and run it.

quick note, when i have the lcd plugged in through dvi it says check analog signal cable and when it is unplugged from the computer it says check digital (dvi) cable

Try updating your motherboard's BIOS.

dfi nf3 250 is on 6/23/05 bios, is there a newer one?

Can you get into the monitor's menu? U could manualy chage it from analog to digital input selection.
