ok i have a laptop lcd screen which i would like to hook up to one of my machines, how would i go about doing this? i wouldnt be running any games or anything its just a linux box

i was wondering about the same thing as well. i wanted to mod one to fit into the side window of a computer case. i have lookind into it it a little, and what i have found are:

1. costly
2. very difficult

i think in order to get it to work, you would first need to know the brand/manuf. of the lcd screen. then (i think) you need to find the proper inverter and controller card. there may be a few other parts you need, though i really dont remember... i kind of lost interest after i figured out how much time and money this would all cost

It's going to be a lot of work, and it probably wont be cheap. I believe Skunkbuster nailed it; you need to find a controller compatible with your LCD. I don't know where to find them, though.

yeah i found them, i mine as well go out and buy a cheap desktop lcd screen costs about the same price as one of those controllers, anyways thanks for hte help guys
