lcd gaming?

i dont know but 2 lcds would put a fat line down the center and also run a resolution impossible to almost any vid card set-up besides sli ultras possibly especially on doom3

I was thinking of that or if you play a game like cod, you would have one screen looking in front of you and one looking in back of you.

eventually, games should allow the efficient use of a dual monitor setup, for instance, I would assume games similar to battlefield 2 will allow the player to have one screen be the action and the other screen display the map, inventory, and what not.

If you felt like spending too much money on a slow card, you could get a Matrox Parhelia. That will give you three outputs. Then you could have straight ahead, left and right views.
Unfortunately, the gaming market was not supportive of this and I still dont think any games were made to utilize that setup.
Maybe Serious Sam in widescreen would look cool. Thats about the heaviest game a Parhelia will play.
