How do you find out the ideal Aspect Ratio for a given size LCD Display? For example, what is the ideal aspect ratio for a 24" LCD Display or for that matter a 19" or 17" LCD display? Please also let me know the relationship, i.e., the method to calculate one from the other. Thanks
 
The aspect ratio of a display is derived from the physical dimensions of the LCD panel, its length divided by its height. Since LCD pixels are square, you can essentially calculate the ratio by the number of horiziontal pixels divided by the vertical pixels.
