Hey all,

I'm looking for a arm mount for a Dell 2408WFP that would clamp on to the rear of my desk and be able to move the screen up/down/left/right and pivot/tilt as well. Can anyone recommend a quality product? Most of what I've seen are wall/ceiling mounts which is not what I would like, and the rest are too cheap and not durable.

Chief makes excellent mounts/arms. They are primarily commercial/industrial, so you will pay a bit more, but they are built like tanks. Ergotron is generally fine as well.

Make sure the mount you choose will support the weight of your panel. 24" should be within spec for most arms, but some of the less expensive and/or more highly articulated mounts may not sufficiently support the weight, leading to droop.

I have this arm and am very satisfied. Weight limit is 25lbs, which should cover up to 30" monitors:
