Why are dell monitors so sought after? Is it the return policy? Is it the quality? Or something else... Doen't Dell buy the screens from the same place as other LCD sellers? If so do you know who those sellers are? I'm just wondering, what's the biggy? Costco seems to have a better return policy. Do any of the one at costco use the dell screen? besides the dells themselves?
 
It's the price. Dell used to use LG and/or Samsung LCD screens before, but I'm not sure what they use nowadays.
 
Dell has a good return policy. 21 days no questions asked. Not everyone has a Costco membership. At anyrate Costco just started selling the Dell 2405FPW for like $850. Which isn't bad but it is more than what Dell has sold the 2405 for in the past, but Costco's return policy is better than Dell's might be worth it to some. Other than that Dell LCD's typically are pretty good quality and have a GREAT prices with coupons in comparision.
