LCD choices

Not really answering your question exactly, but if I was buying a 17" LCD, this is the one I would take right now, no contest:

A friend got this for his Birthday a few weeks ago. He already had the most expensive Samsung 19" and it just blows it away. If you can, go to BB's or CompUSA, and check it out. Make sure the asjustments aren't all off. I saw one at CompUSA last week that had been turned down so dim it looked like crap. A few adjustments and it was back to making people ignore all the other displays in the store.

At $400 for a 17, and about $600 for the 19, they aren't cheap, but they are almost hypnotic. I paid 225 for the 17" Princeton I have just a few months ago, and even though there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, I'm thinking about selling it and getting the Sony 17".
