I just received a 710T from Dell and, for the most part, love it. No dead pixels, very minimal ghosting even in UT, bright as the sun... but the backlight is a little wonky.
On a black background, there is leakage on the top of the screen. When the color is mid-range, such as a middle-ish gray, there is a definite blend from darker gray to lighter gray from the top to bottom (and almost seems more like top-left to bottom-right). This is noticeable in many scenarios. For example, the AnandTech logo is fairly dark right now, but my task bar/clock area at the bottom right is bright as can be.
Is there any way to fix this? I found one other forum where someone said they had this problem and adjusted it, but they never replied back. Any thoughts, ideas, or tips?
Thanks in advance. I'll be back probably at 1:00 PM Central, so sorry if I reply slowly.
