Well, I would say that I am getting a new monitor for gaming, but the fact is, I am too old to game anymore, I think. The only game I really still play is a 2d game online called subspace. Anyway, any recommendations? I don't want to bust the bank - about 300 dollars or so with DVI....Nothing else I think I need....The market seems saturated with brands but I don't know what is good and what blows.....Thanks! BTW I have a GeForce 6800GT, if that makes a diff....

I would simply go to Newegg and start reading some reviews. There are several good ones to be had for 300.

Lots of good reviews, and I've never had a problem with the 20 or so BenQ LCDs that we've ordered at work.

Ouch that really really sucks for u buying an lcd after all the christmas sales already ended. The 940b could have been had for $295.00AR before, now its 345.99, the benq FP91G+ was also around $40 cheaper than it is now. Everything is pumped back up now.

I got VP930b (viewsonic), sure it cose $450ish, but its a great monitor.
