Well, I would say that I am getting a new monitor for gaming, but the fact is, I am too old to game anymore, I think. The only game I really still play is a 2d game online called subspace. Anyway, any recommendations? I don't want to bust the bank - about 300 dollars or so with DVI....Nothing else I think I need....The market seems saturated with brands but I don't know what is good and what blows.....Thanks! BTW I have a GeForce 6800GT, if that makes a diff....

I have been there and subsequently came back here....too many to choose from. I don't know if I should shop by price or brand with these things 🙁
 
I ordered the viewsonic vx924 from zipzoomfly.com yesterday. Seems like a wonderful screen for $299 shipped after rebate.
 
Ouch that really really sucks for u buying an lcd after all the christmas sales already ended. The 940b could have been had for $295.00AR before, now its 345.99, the benq FP91G+ was also around $40 cheaper than it is now. Everything is pumped back up now.
