Practically eveyone is lazy. That can be overcome. However, if you are stupid, no amount of concentrated effort will overcome that.

I know plenty of stupid people who are hardworking who do fine. But yes, it is better to be smart and hardworking.

Definitely smart and lazy. I've been in both situations before. I got along excellently with the folks who were smart and lazy, and was almost always angry at the people who were hard workers, but dumb.

i think i'd try to make the job as easy as possible and then make the hard working guy do all the work.. if he fvcks up, he fvcks up, and he'll have to do it again till he gets it right.. at least he'll be doing it and working on it.. at least he gets the work done, right or not.. if the guy was lazy, he might not even get it done till the very last minute, then what if that's not even what you were thinking about? then you're screwed!

Lazy for sure. The lazy guy will work hard enough not to get fired. The lazy smart guy will also do good work.

The stupid guy will cause more work for everyone else because they make too many mistakes.
