layoffs

Yeah, I don't know many of the people, but one of them so far I worked with fairly closely. Kind of a bummer, but he had a good attitude about it though.

When I was at helpdesk I had to dispatch a ticket for a really mouthy manager who got laid off along with like 500 others. That was the best ticket ever. This guy was a newly promoted manager and he was the type of guy that looked highly at himself and his position and thought he was better then everyone. A month after his promotion he gets laid off and we have to terminate his account, vpn, and blackberry.

I wouldn't mind one bit if my company laid me off. There is a clause in my contract and if I am terminated or laid off they would have to pay me about 8 months in compensation pay, and I can get another job rather quickly, even in this economy.

well, i wouldn't know, i'm a server admin. from wachovia, it's nice to have the stock price go from $0.15 (WACH) to $19 (WFC). it's better than the shittier Citi Bank, that's for sure.
