Layering fans...

seems like a good idea to layer my 80mm intake fans. Never really thought of doing it before...anyone ever try this?

EDIT: Just in case anyone is confused, by "layering" i mean stacking.
 
now that i think about the physics, it doesn't seem like it would make a difference. The air coming into and out of the bottom fan is going to be the same speed as the air coming out of the top fan..i dunno...suggestions still welcome

Unless you're talking about sandwiching. Like in watercooling, sandwiching the radiator between two fans helps a bit. But no layering.
