AK47? Don't they fall under the assault weapons ban or are they legal if converted from full automatic to semiautomatic? The mental image of MJ fighting off terrorists while standing on top of his toybox with an AK blazing made my morning though, thanks.

That useless bit of legislation makes it illegal to sell the semi auto AK-47. People who already own them do not have to turn them in they just cannot buy them anymore. The only AK-47 sold legally was semi-auto only unless you live in one of the few states that allow ownership of full auto weapons and even then they are HEAVILY regulated by the BATF. I know someone who legally owns a semi-auto AK-47.
