lawn liberation front makes threats against those that mow their lawn

no kidding....someone is stuffing mailboxes with "terrorist threats" that say that 12 inch metal spikes have been implanted in their lawn, and if they attempt to mow it, it will become shrapnel and loved ones "will get hurt".

How nuts is this? 🙂

hehe, its probably some nut that "cares about the grass." Whoever it is probably thinks the grass is screaming "nooooo, that hurts so much!!!" when it gets mowed. or its just some people pulling off a prank

Lawnmowers are MAJOR polluters and contribute to smog greatly, as they have no emissions control on them.

Especially bad are the mowers that you have to mix the gas and oil together. (I can never remember if it is a 2-stroke or 4-stroke engine that is that way.)

What part of Pittsburgh? I'm in the city where grass is an unaffordable luxury, so I haven't heard of the 'lawn liberators' yet.
 
im not sure...they didnt elaborate too much, either that or i missed it. Im in highland park, not the best area..but the TV images showsed what looked like a nicer neighborhood.

Each and every blade of grass is a living thing and you people should be ashamed of the destruction that are you perpetrating on another being. How you like it if someone were to slice and hack away a goodly portion of your all that you consider valuable. You people are heartless.
 
Just to be on the safe side (I live a couple hundred miles away) I decided to postpone my fourth mowing of the lawn this year to an undetermined date.

Hey, sounds like reason enough to stop mowing for me too 🙂. I'm just waiting for the rain to stop coming weekly and giving the grass a reason to grow

And how screwed up fo you have to be to think any cause is worth hurting innocent people.
