lawl at people's incompetance to keep a website up

I have a tech site and I'll admit I don't pay as much attention to it as I used to but I check it pretty much every day and try to keep the front page updated.

I decided it was time to do a cleanup in the affiliate list as I figured there may be some sites that are down or no longer exist.

Sadly, about 70% of them were either expired domains snatched by other people, or were simply broken (error, suspended account etc).

One particular site amused me the most however. Keeping in mind these are all tech sites.

It had a page saying they are recovering from a hardware failure and it said sorry about the wait (chances are it's been down for months). It also mentioned how they'll be getting better hardware and a brand new site.

That's just the nice way of saying "we suck and did not do any backups".

I loled. I'm debating on if I should keep that site in the affiliate list.
