Fvck what happened in the plot. The last scene is just a big WTF. Basically, what Serena said in the final seconds of the show.

Basically, boss man said that Serena was too soft and that she didn't have the "hard edge" to do the job that she was hired to do. Then he fired her.

Then she responds with "Is it because I'm a lesbian?"

You enjoy that show that show is sooooooooooooo dumb. Every episode someone gets raped kidnapped or killed and the crappy police solve it. Problem Solved

It's still a quality show without Orbach. I'm not overly keen on his replacement either but overall the show is still very good.

I knew there would be a thread about this. I haven't been following most of the season (Lennie was my 2nd favorite part after McCoy) but I knew this was Serena's last episode so I wanted to see how/why she left. Has her lesbianism ever been mentioned before? I was sorta expecting Branch to say "What the hell are you talking about? You're a lesbian?" because that's exactly what I said to myself but alas - such a disappointing ending to such a hot (yet disappointing) ADA.
The preview for next week looks great though.

I definitely would've remembered any mention of her being a lesbian. 😉 😀
 
Alright I was just perusing the IMDB boards on L&O and some ideas are that
1. She's a defense attorney on Trial by Jury (if it continues without Lennie)
2. She brings a discrimination lawsuit against Branch

Hopefully neither, and they just move on, and this is just one weird blip on the L&O radar that slowly passes and one that I can soon forget.
