Thanks, found 14 objects, and two virus notifications popped up during it, but AVG failed to find anything after running AA. Is there any way it might have deleted the viruses or do I need to get some new virus protection?

Thanks for the notice on Lavasoft's Ad-Aware SE.

Just downloaded 1.04 and found a bunch of cookies from my kids' browsing.

I had just updated Ad-Aware 6, and it downloaded a new reference file but made no mention of the new SE software. That seems very odd to me. I would have continued assuming I had their latest and greatest if I hadn't seen your post!

SE 1.03 popped up a dialog box about 1.04 being released, at least they're making it more obvious that there's a new major version that requires downloading.

3 builds in a week, get ready for 1.04

1.04 now out

wow, what the hell are they doing?
new build out, its a new build of 1.04, still under 1.04 name, but new none the less

Too many builds. The auto update feature should change builds on the fly with just a re-boot rather than dl'g and reinstalling all the time... :)

Agreed, but remember, this is free and costing us nothing. :)

Sorry if I appeared to be winging but I wasn't really. One of the best free apps on the internet. :)

Yeah with 6.0 it was good for months.

With SE, every time i run a scan, there's a new version.

Then again, if it really is getting better, then that's good.
