I've run into this issue more recently but it seems like whenever I go to use my Xbox One, my PS4 doesn't like that and becomes a rogue agent. It will just randomly turn itself on from a full off state (happens in standby too), eject whatever disc I last left in there and then beep every minute or so. I can also hear the disc drive either tying to pull the disc back in or continuing to spew it out. Luckily I haven't had one land on the floor... yet.
I read up on this a little bit and the inevitable "your house is haunted" responses were frequent but I'm pretty sure it's not a ghost. I am going to move the console away from the Xbox and see if that at least helps but I wanted to know if it was even possible that something in my Xbox One controller could activate the PS4, without any modifications of course. Both of the controllers are Elite models if that makes any difference. I've also disabled CEC or whatever that HDMI function is on my TV, didn't change anything.
Ideas? Other than perform a seance and purge my house of poltergeists?
