Which is the latest VIA 4in1?
I think I've seen a v4.25a but cant find it. Is 4.24 the latest?
Where can I get the drivers (i know 4.24 is on www.viatech.com)

Is there some egregious problem that 4.25a fixes? I am currently using the 4.24 drivers, but would like to know if there's some reason I should upgrade.

it has newer AGP driver that supposedly fixes the shutdown problem with the nvidia det. 3 drivers.

oh.. I've also read there are a few problems with VIA 4.24, Detonator 3. The solution shoudl be to install 4.23, then Det3, then update to 4.24

anyone know anything about this?

Install the 4.24 and then the 4.25a, if you don't you get a error message because it can't find a file.

Looking back on some of the older threads concerning VIA drivers, it seemed that everybody suggested avoiding v4.20 and sticking with v4.17. So now the latest version (4.24 and/or 4.25) is the one to go with? All the problems that everyone was bringing up for 4.20 and 4.21 are ironed out?

This is interesting since I`m using 4.24 drivers & Detonator3 (6.31) drivers with no problems so what is the problem Members are talking about?,also I`ve tried the 4.25 drivers & to me there is no difference,I`m` using a MSI K7T PRO & Geforce 2 MX ,gaming & Windows wise no problems.Forgot to mention using good old Win98 OS1.

As in Mem's case I'm running 4.24 and 6.31 with a GeForce MX on my new Epox EP-8KTA2 with no problems.

Is the new AGP driver avalible at the VIA web site...I have Det3 shutdown probs...
The last time I installed the 4-in-1 driver is totally stuffed up the DMA on my Seagate hard disks (no matter weather I enabled or disabled DMA my comp it would not start windows, still, with the default VIA Windows 98SE drivers,if I enable DMA check box, it takes around 50 minutes to load windows!!!) this was with 4-in-1 version 4.21...
