ok, here is my Thread that i posted last night that seemed to have gotten locked. No idea.

All I want to know is which Deal is better. The Infineon or Mushkin Ram. Both are the same price shipped, and are CAS3 PC133.

This is a HOT DEAL REVIEW, not a hardware question. I want to make sure EVERYONE is aware of these 2 deals. Mod, please do not lock.

No, this is not a "comparison review", as you are simply posing a question, hence why the post should be in the Moderator sponsored "I WANNA" know what's the best deal thread.

A comparison review is a post where you do the homework/footwork and provide all the details, information, and online reviews within the initial post to consolidate all the existing threads.

So unless you edit your post above to provide a comparison review (versus asking a question), then this thread as well will be locked....

nevermind then, I am just about DONE with this. All I wanted was an answer about which deal was better, and I get locked!!! I was only recapping all the HOT DEALS on RAM that have been any good for the last week. I thought I was doing a service to this forum, but I guess not. Heck, I even gave credit to the origonal thread posters!!!which is more than I can say for SOME of you thread stealers!!!

Hell... see ya, I was going to post this right after you posted your thread, but figured I'd just let your crap thread drop to the bottom. Since everyone else posted already, here's my take on it.

There are no reasons to repost the deals unless YOU found it yourself, and forgot to search the forum before posting them. All you are doing is filling the forum with crap threads that get in the way of all other legitimate deals. As K-squared, you haven't done anything to benefit the forum, did you provide a review? No, you did not. You were were asking a question. You could have asked the same question in the General Hardware Forum, or Off Topic (possibly) and would have received plenty of answers.

I'm sure the mod's love your attitude, good riddance.

K.. did you read the other thread he linked to?

Yes, I did. He only provided a link to two (2) of the numerous threads on only two (2) sources of SDRAM (Crucial.com and Muskin.com). That's no where close to being an "overview" of the latest ram deals (much less a comparison). Both threads amount to nothing more than "I WANNA" post under the guise of a "overview and comparison" of the deals he's asking about. There's not a single link to a single online review of SDRAM (which there are many), hence why the MODERATOR locked the thread.

This type of post is akin to posting a FS/FT thread with no prices listed.

Crucial for how much? I just took a look and it went down again. maybe I'll go to 768MB... anyways, Crucial 256MB PC133 CL3 is at $84.99, and CL2 is $89.24, but you have to pass through the crucial.com/webpromo first to get that low. still free 2-day shipping. if you can PM at staples, add a few other items and use the coupon, the deal gets better. Crucial CT32M64S4D75 is Staples IM1415517, 256MB PC133 CL3 RAM. might as well just buy two sticks and use a $30 off $150 coupon. $169.98 for 2 sticks, -$30 coupon, totals $139.98 plus tax and free shipping. nice. :)

Hey if anyone wants to do the staples deal but only wants one stick I can get real interested in the other one. 70 for 256 crucial. I figure it can prob run CL2. if its quality ram. they just don't officially rate it as so. LMK. thanks
