Although I think its more directly self-esteem issues and less directly simple time.
Women who are professionally beautiful (models and actresses) see the world through a slightly different lens. They are more likely to be unhappy with little faults or perceive a fault when there really isnt one. They are also more likely to take extreme measures of correction such as surgery or goat placenta vs. a new diet or skin product.

Sincerely hope I can find a girl who is secure enough in herself that such insane procedures dont seem like a reasonable solution to appearance problems. Rather a more zen approach like looking within herself.
Or a girl thats so neurotic, physical appearance is the least of her concerns.

Either one works fine for me.

it isn't the surgery, just genetics and features, some features don't age well, as seen with claudia schiffer, but some of those girls are chosen for modeling because they look kinda weird in the first place, its distinctive and memorable if a girl is hot yet almost shouldn't be, youth kind of papers over the weird bits and they fall over the line into the hot category..for a while.
