wouldn't it be easier to just execute the following command?

net send 127.0.0.1 Warning! - You are running Windows! Your system is insecure!!

The Linux kernel has a major security leak from the first version to the latest versions. Last I heard that Linux security leak has not been fixed. Those running earlier versions of the Linux kernel probably don't care to fix it.

I did log onto a web site listing all the Linux bugs and security problems but forgot or lost that URL. I wonder if anyone has that URL?
