not quite sure why a parent complaining over this is a bad thing.

because our country generates a never-ending hoard of perverts and sexual deviants due to this sexually repressed asshole puritan parents.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the human body. You don't have shove it in your kid's faces, but nothing wrong with them being exposed to the human body. It's natural.

Her thumb in the front of her bikini bottom...
I think it'd be funny if it was her fingers.. with her thumb hooked around the outside. =D

If it was a dude, wearing just a speedo and a garland, in the same pose there would be no outrage. This is just a continuation of women in the western world becoming the same as the men. Ideas that a woman should act like a lady are antiquated, not our culture anymore.

Sadly, that same lady would have a problem if a guy in a speedo was shown especially if his package was outlined prominently.

I don't have a problem with a topless woman, however; saying it's the same reaction as a man's chest is not true. Men and women are wired a bit differently there. You don't have women staring at every built guy's chest. 🙂

yeah, women actually like that. and they stare. and they talk about it. not much different from men.

Good photo and probably photoshopping. I'm even a small boob fan, but that's pretty hot, and no, not porn-like. I can't even see nips in that photo, so what's the big deal? SI has had covers with more visible, IIRC.

Whup dee doo, some obese hippo of a bitch complaining about a hot chick fat-shaming her while she stuffs her face full of tacos. F fatties

Presumably the kids who may see this have access to the internet not to mention all the chat stuff that now goes on. Yet it's "think of the children" when some boobage (sans nipples) shows up in the mail of there is a nip slip on TV.

Secretly, the hippo bitch wants to be fat-shamed so that she has an excuse for knocking back a full gallon of ice cream as comfort food.

That being said, that cover is over the line by the ridiculously puritanical standards of the USA (Unending Shame of Anatomy). And that's why GQ did it. They knew it would get a rise out of the ultra-conservatives who would get their panties in a completely non-visible bunch and it would generate free publicity for the issue.

Its more because many of work at places where viewing NSFW type images can get us in trouble than having us be exposed to the human form. Since I used to work at a place where that image would have gotten me in trouble I appropriate their caution

Any work place which condones accessing forums or chatrooms at work while having hissy fits over scantily clad women or men is rather two faced. And don't tell me about customers seeing monitors being unprofessional. FB is more professional than the GQ cover? Hypocritical forum and corporate drones.
