I am an MCSE with a Masters in IT Mgmt. So I know a little about computers....

I am going to build a new home PC and it is going to be cutting edge.... so I would like to know which is the best chipset for my PC. I am going to be doing video editing and running the latest games like Far Cry and I need a PC with loads of power.

Which is better, the nVidia nForce4 chipset? or the Intel 955 chipset, or the VIA KT800 chipset?
 
Try the general hardware forum..this is not a highly technical question..

But if you are using an Intel proccessor, an Intel chipset would still be the best choice, I would never use a Via chipset with an intel cpu. If you are using an A64, the Nforce 4 would be the best choice.
