LASTDAY PROMOTION - 550 Watts Gaming PSU $10 instant Rebate - $52

I've been using this PSU since January.
The 120 mm LED Fan is extremely quiet. I let my PC run 24/7..
I have a Thermaltake Tsunami Case, Pentium D830, Nvidia V-card,and got the WIN550 since German roommate recommeded. Well HEC is very popular iN Europe based on what he told me..

Anyways.. $52.00 After instant Rebate.. I think it's great

Here's the Link guys..
HEC - WIN550UB Watts

Enjoy....

Well, it works Great on my System... actually the quality is pretty much equal to the TOP brands in the market... Big price difference though

this psu looks good. i'd pick up one if it works w/ my p180 and dfi ultra-d. how long is the 24-pin atx cable? anyone knows if that the 24-pin cable is long enough for my setup?

thx!

Great find OP. Shipping at Mwave is always bad for me, in this case $10. Still, at $62, this is still a good deal.

Directly from the PCstats review:

"*All voltages were read from the Motherboard BIOS of a Foxconn NF4K8AC-8EKRS."

This is not the most accurate way to test the stability of the rails. The conclusions PCstats came to are inaccurate.

"Hec Win 550UB 550 W
Active Power 184W
Apparent Power 263VA
(under load)"

quick calculation 184/263 gives you a little less than 70% efficiency. I couldn't find any other review of this psu on the net other than PCstats.

I wouldn't call this a hot deal because better PSU's can be found for $50.

I measured my 20/24 Main connector... it's around 23-24"

Then instead of claiming it's bad, put some links to a better product.

Here's another review.

Link.

A digital multimeter was used here. The results are pretty impressive, and the reviewer says that it's on par with a Seasonic S-12 500W.

I believe the general consensus around here for a $50 PSU is Fortron. For $62 shipped I think an Ax-450 can be had for less.

The AX-450 doesnt have 2 6-pin PCI-e connectors.

just ordere one. it's now even a better deal... $42 after $10 instant rebate 😀

edit: they changed back to $52 🙁

WEll, I've just been spending over between $80-100+ for PSU, which i truly think is unncesseary.
and I do agree...
Seasonic, Fortron, Antec, Thermaltake, Enermax, COolermasters are GReat brands..
but .. now I guess I could add one more in the List for less $$$!
