Dynasties aren't what they used to be. That's a fact. She may piss off people on the right and even towards the middle, but not nearly as much as Sanders.

I think the Dems talked Bernie into running just so the Democratic race would get some press in the face of 15 or however many Rep candidates. He's really just shill for Hillary - although he doesn't realize that.

But for as unpopular as Hillary might be, she does have some very important voting blocks locked up tight. Blacks for sure and probably Hispanics, although I can't remember the stats. That counts for something if you can get those folks out to the polls. I'm not sure Donald really inspires that sort of commitment.

I sometimes wonder if Trump is running just to disrupt this election. Who is really pulling the strings? Or is he that much of an ego-maniac? The press is about ten minutes away from turning on him despite their ratings $$$.

Cruz is way too extreme for me to ever vote for him. Rubio is slightly less extreme but he's also equally unfit to lead this country. I would never vote for either of them... Can we get religion out of politics in this country? I'd totally vote for that.

I'd never vote for Bernie. Take the extremes on either side and I'm voting for the center and someone who can actually work both sides of the aisle. Sadly, I don't think Hillary can pull that off either.

Basically, we're fucked. I thought the Republican party imploded when Romney lost to Obama... if that was an implosion then what the fuck is Trump?

I feel like Bernie isnt extreme at all. I think we are so used to extreme and nonsense that his common sense seems extreme lol. Also taking religion out of it is a vote for Bernie too. Think about it, hes not gonna be pushing judaism lol.

Trump is clearly doing it for fun. Watch his latest rally at Radford, VA.

The guy talked for over an hour and was able to actually hold the audience's attention - even with the multiple little college kids protesting. He just loves to talk and tell stories.

"...with the terrorists, you have to take out their families."
o_O

Stick to your principles, and really prove that you're the good guy in the battle. Kill everyone, even innocents, just to get your message across loud and clear.
One generation might not be enough either. So North Korea might be onto something with the whole "kill three generations" thing?

I find it hard to understand how anyone can un-ironically support Donald Trump, but as H.L. Mencken wrote, "No one in this world . . . has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people." It seems to me Trump supporters all fit into one or more of three categories: 1) stupid; 2) cynical; and 3) full of hate. It has become abundantly clear that such people constitute a controlling share of the Republican electorate at the moment, which is depressing to any thinking American (particularly any thinking Republican).

Even if Trump were to win the Presidency (which I find difficult to imagine), his ascendency represents the complete implosion of the Republican party as we know it. Actually Nate Silver had an interesting piece about this partisan realignment this morning - http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/dont-assume-conservatives-will-rally-behind-trump/
What I find hilarious is that you seem to think that a vote for Trump is sticking it to the left, when in reality he is a middle finger to the Republican brand. Trump represents the end of the modern Republican party, and the beginning of whatever realignment will be necessary for Republicans to again compete in national elections. Democrats know this, and the people who truly care about the Republican party know this.
:hmm:
Soo.....vote for Trump then?
If we make it through and the rest of the world helpfully treats the US like someone coming off of a bad drug habit, this could be a decent long-term strategy.

Lol! When you have to justify what lies are ok and what aren't then you've gone full retard.

Everyone lies, especially politicians. The problem is the manner of how Hillary lies. What she's lying about, the extreme that the lies are from the truth, and why she's lying, should matter to you.

With the garbage political candidates we get to choose from, it IS actually a case of deciding what lies are OK and what lies aren't.

The only candidate whose words are actually trustworthy is Bernie, IMHO, and we don't get Bernie. Dems went out of their way to make sure he wasn't the guy, and have been pumping all their support behind Hillary.

The guy talked for over an hour and was able to actually hold the audience's attention [...] He just loves to talk...

Pfft, he's no Fidel!

LONGEST SPEECH: Castro's holds the Guinness Book of Records title for the longest speech ever delivered at the United Nations: 4 hours and 29 minutes, on Sept. 29, 1960. His longest speech on record in Cuba was 7 hours and 10 minutes in 1986 at the III Communist Party Congress in Havana.

I also hear Kim Jong-un can really hold his audience's attention. They don't dare miss a word! :p

Kim Jong-Un once made a speech that went on for 24 hours, shot a 36 in golf, and slept at Holiday Inn.

When I go to your link, it skips from page 25 to page 27, and says in German that pages 26 and 27 aren't displayed.

Do you have the actual book? If so, would you mind taking a pic and uploading it?

Sorry, I don't have a copy. I read page 26 online.

Edit: That's odd. I can see (book) page 26 fine. And it says in German that pages 27 and 28 aren't displayed.

Fine, I'll be a devil's advocate here a little bit:

I've usually favored democratic candidates vs republican ones, and I just can't help but absolutely despise Hillary Clinton. She's just...

We've all seen the "Hillary Clinton lying for 13 minutes straight" video, right? Right? Well, just in case not, here it is again:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dY77j6uBHI

I think a lot of democrats, especially younger ones (under 50), are going to be less than enthusiastic about Hillary.

I'm actually pretty scared of another Clinton president. The last one was pretty damaging to people working in the Tech sector, like myself, in a number of ways. Trump, on the other hand, seems like he couldn't give a half-damn about what the big money wants him to do, and is against expanding the H1B Visa program, and is against H1Bs undercutting American workers' salaries.

So, to me it's voting for a pathological liar, bought politician who will almost certainly damage my livelihood, or a guy who's a total loose cannon but might help protect my job.

If the democratic candidate wasn't so terrible, I wouldn't be entertaining the idea of voting Trump, but like in most elections I just try to vote for the candidate that's less likely to screw me and my family over.... and in Trump vs Hillary, as insane as it sounds, that's Trump.

Its the banks devil, or the devil businessman
At the end of the day Trump is a circus ringmaster, who does deals, while Hillary is owned by the banks.

Anyways, the comedy central regressives have become a joke.

I think SP33Demon might be surpassing michael1980 stupid, something I thought was almost impossible!

When shown a video of someone lying multiple times and how that person is extremely thinned skin and your response is that you like him because he tells it like it is and it's the person whose pointing out the flaws that is really the one with the flaws, you either have to be at an elite level of trolling or have some serious mental problems.

I don't think, in grade school even, I've have ever seen this level of disconnect from reality.

Good luck SP33Demon, I hope you get the help you need and I admire the cats takers that have to deal with you!

Cats takers? Is that like a Korean dish or something? Like Potstickers?
