Agreed. Terrible, terrible book. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw commercials for this. When I was reading the book, it read just like a TV movie or miniseries.

Yeah, I don't know what the hell PokerGuy is talking about. I checked out the book on a whim on his say. So apparently, this book is the author's first. The author is normally a screenwriter and the book was published in 2006. So in two years or so it gets into production as a TV miniseries... The guy basically wrote it in pre-script format. Sure, Patterson can get away with doing that but it doesn't work as well with this book.

I thought the book was pretty entertaining :) but as for the miniseries, I can't really expect it to be anything but terrible.
