Sorry for spamming the board with my paranoia, but I have one last question. I have NIS and ZAPro. Is it wise to run both at the same time? Would they conflict with each other (one prog says to block something wihle the other says not to?) ? Is it better to run NIS or ZAPro .. should I choose one and stick to it?

Just run ZA. Nearly everyone runs only this FW and not two different ones at the same time

I'd say use NIS, simply because I use it and its user interface is perfect (IMHO), and it's passed every security test thrown at it, including the grc.com propaganda tests
