I called him a redneck because he didnt look at my lady or me, He only seemed to talk to the other couple, and just didnt treat us the same. Im sure you know when you are not being treated the same as the couple across from you. My friends concluded the same thing
I guess that makes every white person that talks to other white people rednecks.

No its makes them rednecks when they treat someone else completely different than someone that looks just like them
there are better names for that. calling him a bigot and a redneck makes you a hippo.

OK OK OK, maybe i used the wrong term, I was just calling them like I see them

so why didnt your friend say 'i dunno ask him?' thats what i would have done.

so what nationality are you?

Why don't you answer the question?

Next time ask him if you can have some damn crackers...

Seriously, though just because he was ignoring you does not make him racist towards other races/nationalities(Whatever yours might be)...just an Ahole

Alot of Asians are missing a chemical enzyme that breaks down alcohol so they look like a whino after a glass or 2

And he was probably just calling them like he sees them. 2 drinks and you're tipsy. Lightweight.

maybe he thought you were too piss drunk and he was asking your "white friend" if you've had enough.

That's what I'm thinking. He doesn't know whose driving or what. I've had that happen to me once. I gave my keys to my friend in front of the waiter and she was fine afterwards.

Why is it that you can call white people rednecks, but when they call a black people a "N" word, they get banned on this forum?

Seems like there are double standards here, just like in universities, entertainment industries, and workplaces..

I'm not being racist.. I'm just curious..

admit you didnt complain and left a hefty tip..and stop making yourself out to be the big man not afraid of anything.

i do like how you dont call her u fiance or wife any more now its just my lady...next it will be the ball and chain or the old bag ..maybe my b1tch?

Its better if I call her my lady now, because if i say , wife, fiance, whatever, Some trick like you will have something to say about it because of my infamous cheating thread.
That thread was great wasnt it

LOL. I don't think being exposed for a fraud gives you license to call people names.

What an absolutely excellent post! This guy is owned in this forum. I don't think he has an ounce of credibility or respect left. Could it be that he is just posting things to stir up controversy? Seems like several threads he started are controversial in nature.

As to the original question, there is no way any of us can answer since none of us saw the exchange or witnessed the attitudes of ALL involved. He may be a racist, he may just be a bad waiter, or he may have actually been concerned for your well being. Impossible to say with the limited information at our disposal here.

By calling him a redneck in this thread, we CAN with all certainty draw certain conclusions about you however.

wtf, did he think your friend was your master or something? I can't imagine why any reasonable person would ask a white person if it was ok for their african-american friend to have a drink. He must have been totally ignorant, a bigot or something else was going through his mind that we just can't understand.

I believe it because I've experienced similar situations. Its the kind of thing that happens to women too all the time, and in certain cases minorities. I think asians and hispanics get more of it than black people because I think white merchants often assume that the individual may not speak english, particularly if they are older. In your case, I'd say the bartender was dismissing you, a clear sign of bigotry. In a nutshell, even as a server, he was 'beyond' addressing you. Pretty disgusting if you ask me, and I'm sorry that you had to endure that sort of humiliation. Managers at such establishments should actually be inclined to make the night on the house, and if you had raised Cain I think it would have been deserved.

That's what I was thinking. I'm sure you could sue the restaurant for bringing you too many drinks after you leave and run somebody down in your car. I imagine they are just watching their backs, but you never know where their true intentions lie.
