btw, i loved the episode. so much at once, so little clark/lana having googly eyes for each other. it was great.

Yeah, but that was pretty big with the whole part of her saying she isn't going to be around Clark anymore. Now I want to know whats gonna happen next week and they don't even throw me a bone. :|

I hate not having new episodes. They take such enormous breaks for smallville, I started really watching it last year and they did the same thing, so annoying. I knew it too when there were no scenes for next week, I was like crap their goin on vacation.
 
bah, no new eps til January!? NOOOOO.

I personally loved yesterday's ep...so much excitement, and it was great seeing Lex go nuts 😀

yea, i liked last night episode a lot, and i also kinda enjoyed lana getting kicked byt he horse, dont' know why. I suddenly have this feeling that she's just too good, and too nice, and too girl next doorish. If she was more confident and bold like the blonde girl it'll be cool. But she is too helpless. (note: except for those episodes where they made her kick arse, those were cool to watch)😎
 
I have to hand it to the WB last night. I don't watch these shows like my female friends do (they make it a girls night of it). However, I saw Smallville and Angel to see hwat the fuss is all about.

I am impressed. Really.

The guy who play Lionel is one of those character actors who alsways seems skeezy, even when he is playing a nice guy. I don't know who the other bad guy was (he looks familiar) or what role he plays in the show. But all the things that happened, that's usually the cliffhanger for a season finale. I'm impressed with the special effects. They didn't go overboard with them and used where appropriate. The car was a nice touch.

And it took some balls to play a little bit of Johnny Cash's cover of a NiN's song. It fit too,

Angel. Man, that was probably the most sexually explicit TV show (this particular episode) I've ever seen before 10 PM. Wow, a brooding hero with a sidekick who now is his equal or better. Btw, the dark haired vampire in the flashbacks, is she on the show? She pretty good looking.

In both shows, I see so much better writting and pacing than anything (short of Scrubs) that is out on the networks this season.

Lex and Lionel are definitely the best actors on the show, and the dialogue between the two of them are always excellent.

The dark haired vampire in the flashbacks is named Drusilla. She has been in quite a few episodes over the years, but she was never a regular. A shame, really, because I love her character - she plays her part almost like an evil child set free. She acts like a little girl, but with the strength and anger of a vampire.
 
The Hurt cover by Johnny Cash was so fitting for that episode. Made me kind of weak inside listening to it. Lionel looking at Lex with tears in his eyes was an amazing thing to see.

I'm confused though - so Lionel is keeping Lex under wraps so he can "properly" medicate him, like he was doing with his scotch? Or is Lex really nuts? (Lionel said he had a break after Julian died)
 
This show dropped off so bad. Yesterdays episode was decent, but the rest of the episodes this season have pretty much sucked. It's lucky it has a good time slot. Angel OTOH is pretty good this season. The luchador episode last week was really good.

I think he is having to keep him like that because he found out too much dirt on Lionel

I think they'll end up making it to where Lex doesn't remember any of it, then everything will be back to normal, IMO. The doctor lady even said now that she can control the dosage, he will soon have no short term memory of what happened.

The first few episodes of this season were bad@ss...Now I think they're getting kind of lame. I prefer the episodes be more sequential, kinda like a soap opera. Instead, these shows have unrelated stories, but with the same old characters and themes. I mean, we've all known about the love triangle for 3 seasons now, cant they come up with anything new? Like, possible adding me to the show and have a whole show of me and KK........😀:beer:
