Could this be the last one ever? Its the season finale and there are rumors that they might not renew it.

SO far it been REALLY REALLY good.

Man I love futurama. Too bad its going to be over.
 
that's too bad if it is the last one ever. It's a great, funny show. I like it much better than The Simpsons.

Futurama is a victim of its time slot I think. It is on too early for much of the TV viewing public, and during the NFL season, it never gets on because of the late games. If it does come back, maybe with the X-Files finished, there will be a better timeslot for Futurama. The Trek episode was great.

The only shows left that are any good are The Simpsons, Boston Public and Malcolm In The Middle and it's a safe bet that The Simpsons won't be on many more seasons.

Like it better then some of the current simpsons, but not overall. Simpsons forever!
 
While Futurama is cancelled, I read that they have three years in the can. So while they may not be making new episodes, they could conceivably show new episodes for three more years.
 
could any of the other networks buy one of those great shows and make more episodes?
i know they can buy rights to show older ones...
but futurama and family guy would be great...on any channel

I was thinking the same thing. I think Family Guy would be great on Comdedy Central.

Where did you read this? From what I've heard (on alt.tv.futurama) there are enough episodes for a 5th season, but that's it...

Futurama - Cancelled for no reason. they moved it into a horrible timeslot after moving it around. idiots. show is funnier then when it started defeintly, its pretty much simpsons level.
Family Guy - Cancelled-idiots tanked the show. funny as #%@ hell.
Ally McBeal - Cancelled-show tanked itself after the first 2 seaons, deserved cancellation.
X Files - Final Season-show should have been canceled after the movie.

I've never understood why the don't move Family Guy to Sunday night before the Simpsons. That would make a great combo...plus if they are gonna axe Futurama anyway, try putting it in that slot
