I started using this site about a year ago, quit, and just recently downloaded the plug-ins again. For some reason, I am strangely addicted to seeing what I listen to. Anyone else have a profile on there? Feel free to add me (same name as here).

For those that don't know, this is a profile site based around music listening. It's also great for finding new music, as it has many sound clips on here, and gives great recommendations + radio stations to listen to.

I tried it after reading about it in MaximumPC ... and went back to Pandora (www.pandora.com) ... may be just me, but I can't figure out how to use it well, and every time I click a link it wipes out the music.

Agree though, internet radio really gives some bands exposure. Accuradio is another decent radio site to check out.

I use it, it's kinda nifty. Don't really listen to the radio as it has an annoying Volume issue, but I like it for the info it gives on the Band/Album.

NICE call on pandora.

I've used Last.FM in the past and its 'alright' but didn't do a good job w/ some obscure artists.

I threw them into Pandora and it start playing the artist immediately, i was amazed. ^_^

Yeah I switched from Pandora to Last.fm and it wasn't anywhere near is accurate.

Pandora does a damn near perfect job, very impressed.

I've been on there awhile, sorta neat to see what you listen to.

As for the radio station, I like my personal Last.fm station a lot more than the Pandora one. The Pandora one would play songs that you hadn't heard before but the personal one guarantees you like it (it plays what you've listen to in the past).

Been 'customizing' my Pandora stations for nearly a year ... it takes some time to dial it all in. Google PandorasJar for some interesting alternatives. Haven't tried it myself, but found it appealing none the less.
