Anyone tell me what happened in the lat episode of 24, i was to tired to stay up and watch it so i taped it but the vcr didnt work and i missed it 🙁

SPOILERS

All is well with Los Angeles. Jack was shot, but the evil tycoon was killed/shot by an officer flying by in a helicopter.

all i remember is at the very end, the evil sister chick puts this poison stuff on her hand and she manages to shake the presidents hand. He collapses and looks to be in real bad shape.....that's all I can remember

The only thing I recall is President Palmer took a handshake with some chick who was working for some dude, who tried to plan the whole nuke thing (which failed obviously). It's apparently now plan B. Well the last scene was Pres. Palmer collapsing to the floor from whatever chemical was used by the chick. I can't remember a damn thing otherwise with that last episode.

Season 2 was only alright, I don't know if I will be getting the DVD. I loved S1 but S2 was only ok.

I appreciated the risks they took in Season Two than in Season One.

Can't wait for Season 3!

Poor Jack just can't get a break

me 2...i hope that in season 3, Jack's daughter sits by a pool in a bikini and they just flash to her once in awhile. Also, she should not speak.

i missed almost the whole second season of 24..so sad.

I was gonig to wait til labor day to watch the marathon on FX (hopefully they'll have it again this year)..but it doesn't affect me anyway b/c I DON'T HAVE CABLE TV! 🙁 sad indeed.

Cool final scene, but it wasn't Marie (the evil sister chick). She's being held in captivity. It was the girl from season 1 who jumped out of the airplane after setting a bomb in it. At least I'm pretty sure... *runs to check*

I think Marie got shot in the arm while trying to murder her sister and got put behind bars.

heh - I agree complety. She was so useless in season 2. Always getting into stupid trouble. From almost being raped by a mountain lion, to naively going home with some lonely psycho. If they sat her ass by a pool... I guarantee something unlikely would happen . She'd drop her mom's ring or something and fall into the pool to dive after it... and then her face would get stuck in the filter and she'd drown.

Now now, lest not forget it is the writers who make her look stoopid. I'm sure she could be a GREAT model if they wrote her that way. 🙂

someone told me that Season 3 is going to be a few years after season 2, and Kim is now a CTU agent..swear to god....

OH no! Hopefully, something bad happens to her and she turns into a mute and she has to resort to "body language" to say anything.

ripped from "zap2it tv news" :

All this medical melodrama, though, will be long in the past by the time the show returns.

"It's going to be about two, two-and-a-half years later," says executive producer Howard Gordon. "Many things may have changed. It's a fair amount of time for old wounds to have healed and new ones to have been inflicted."

It has been previously reported that neither Penny Johnson Jerald, who played Mrs. Sherry Palmer, nor Sarah Wynter, who played Kate, a civilian caught up in Jack's adventures, have been signed as a regular for the coming season. Gordon emphasizes that this doesn't necessarily preclude appearances, citing the example of season-one regular Sarah Clarke, who made guest appearances in season two, reprising her role of turncoat agent Nina.

"Nothing is impossible," Gordon says. "In fact, Kate does make an appearance, but she's not been cast as a regular. The same goes for Penny. This is real fluid. They are characters that live in our universe, and it's entirely possible that they'll be back."

>Sharp-eyed viewers from season one were no doubt surprised to see the return of Mandy, who managed to romance a photographer (Rudolf Martin), steal his identity and blow up an airliner in the show's pilot.

Over the next few episodes, she got naked in the desert, reunited with a lesbian lover (who got shot) and disappeared -- to reappear in the short-lived CBS series "Wolf Lake."

"We flirted with the idea all season," says Gordon of Mandy's return. "It was more a function of a deal than anything else -- would she come back? I've been looking for her myself."

Meanwhile, "24" has come under criticism from various corners about its depiction of American and world politics. In season one, a plot to assassinate Palmer involved Eastern European and American terrorists and mercenaries. In season two, Islamic fundamentalists were behind the bomb, along with an international cartel with financial motivations.

"What's so funny about it is," Gordon says, "we're trumpeted by the left and the right. I find it really encouraging that it's stimulated debate. This show is politics-neutral. It's about a guy whose unequivocal mission is to stop people from being killed by extreme bad guys or extreme good guys."

"Jack is a deeply moral individualist who inflicts his own personal sense of what's right, which hopefully coincides with our sense of what's right and what we hope we would do, faced with certain extreme situations."
