There is a new offer at perfectcreditcard.com. Apply any of the cards there, and get $25 check if your application is approved. they ran a similar promotion about two months ago, people did receive the $25 check as promised.

In my opinion the card to get is the chase platinum card, it has lowest price guarantee and return protection benefits, as a part of the Chase Shop Secure program. There is a thread on fatwallet about the CSS program. just search CSS.

Universal Entertainment Student MasterCard looks like a great deal. $25 back AND a free movie ticket. That's essentially $32 back when you are approved. not bad

for people who own a chase card, take a look chaseshop.com moneyback connection, it's similar to ebates but for chase card members only. They also have some special coupon, discount offers like the $10 off $50 office depot offer, and they seem to be ongoing offers.

I must be missing something. I went to the Chase Platinum Card site and did not see any mention of the lowest price guarantee feature. Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm interested in this card if its plan is like BVG from Amex.

Chase has some cards (see below for a listing) that have a program called "Chase Shop Secure" (CSS) available - you're not enrolled unless you actively sign up. It includes both "Lowest Price Guarantee" (LPG) and "Return Protection" (RP). This is particularly exciting because LPG is valid for online stores!

Cards with CSS available:
CashBuilder Platinum
Chase Platinum Mastercard
Chase Gold Visa & MC (CSS is listed here (under CARD BENEFITS))
Chase Visa Infinite Card

To sign up:
There is no known website with information on CSS. Call your Chase Customer Service # (on the back of your card) to sign up. The CS# from my card is: 800-577-0636.

Chase cashbuilder card also has the BVG feature. However, do remember, if you use it for balance transfers, then don't use it for for purchases. Because purchases will incur the standard interest rate, payments to credit card accounts always pay off the lowest interest rate balance first. all the credit cards I know of use this rule.
