Did you know the guy who bolted a solid rocket booster to his car and imbedded himself in the side of a cliff?

haha.

I work at Johnson Space Center, NASA headquarters. I am just an engineering intern. I work with the head of all of nasa a lot though, General Howell. Very good and powerful friend to have.

Most of the time i end up making copies for the engineers, but I do a lot of presenting. The engineers give me info because they have no idea how to use powerpoint, and I organize it and put it in a presentation, and then present it for them, with their comments on it, etc.

Yeah, its been a great job, looks great on resume's too.

That's a major urban legend. Someone DID prove it wrong by strapping a few rockets to a similar car and it didn't even come close to 300 (MAYBE 180). And Olds or Buick did a test where they did 150-160 in a car after strapping a JATO to it's trunk. Not near the amount of thrust needed to replicate the description in the legend.

...so.... can I get half a dozen to put in my Dakota's bed? I think it'll take care of tailgaters.

Like we never really went to the moon. haha just kidding.

I do get a lot of "sensitive" material, but I just pass it on, I've sneaked my peak here and there, but whatever.

When i check out today, I have to go through a bunch of bullsh!t paperwork to promise nasa i wont tell russia anything, etc..
