Hi guys - with your help I decided on my upgrades, and here's what I've found:
Epox EP-8K7A motherboard (retail)
1.33ghz Athlong 266fsb, (OEM)
Cooler Master EP5-6i11 AMD Socket A
Processor Heatsink and Fan (Retail)
From newegg.com $275 (with shipping)
Hard Drive(ordered) WD 30gig 7200rpm A100 from Bestbuy $84.50 (with shipping)
256mb 2100 DDR Ram from Crucial $42.99

So how's it look? Good prices? Anyone have any experience with newegg? Any advice on what kind of geforce2 card to get (can't find a tempting offer)? Thanks a bunch!

good good, new egg is good, GeForce2 Pro from newegg is good. Or slurge and get a GeForce3, or save and get a MX400.

Thanks - but does it matter what kind of geforce 2 pro I get? Or are they all the same basically?

i would not get the retail HS if you want overclock
get a better hs thermalright sk6 if you want to overclock
get a decent PSU unit tho

as for vid card

MSI GF2 PRO for about 140 on newegg i dont think u can get better than that for a gf2

KYRO II also rox for 108

and RADEON LE @ $80 is also great
