Caught a Foo Fighters show a few weeks ago and followed that up with another gig from Clutch.

Chirgilchin last night.
That musta rocked!

Last I saw was Elvin Bishop at The Freight and Salvage in Berkeley, CA. I interviewed him at the venue just before the show and aired the interview on my show on KALX, Berkeley around 10 days later after some careful editing.

Gn'r

Just bought tix yesterday for Phil Collins for $620 (2 tix). These prices are ridiculous(!) but he's a bucket list performer and prolly be his last tour.

How was In This Moment? They are on my "want to see" list.

Good but didn't have a typical set. Their intro was Journey's Don't Stop Believing. I'm not sure if thats always the case or not but if not that was a fantastic (if unexpected given musical styles) decision as that will get any crowd in Michigan singing. Maria had a wardrobe change between almost every song which I wasn't a fan of (song, pause, song song, pause). A good bit of specific theatrics for each song. Above average but not amazing sound\vocals compared to their recordings. Maria definitely buys 100% into the wackado persona. The released giant balloons on their final song that everyone batted around like beach balls. Saw a ~4 year old girl on her dads shoulders (with ear protection) trying to grab one but couldn't. A big biker guy ran over with one in his hands to hand to her.

Me and the wife attended this last year.

Poison and Cheap Trick in Vegas on Saturday. CC hasn't lost a step, but overall Cheap Trick killed it (especially Zander on vocals).

Glad she has a thoughtful parent, I see very young kids at metal shows without ear protection and I don't like it.

I saw a free LIVE concert in DC years back before Ed Kowalczyk went full religious, ironic considering all his songs with Live.

I wanna say Metallica/Iron Maiden a few years back. Oh Bruce and his antics. Wish'd I coulda seen his solo stuff...wicked awesome!
Cheap Trick - loved 'em. Saw 'em with The Romantics way back in the 90's I think. At some amusement park in NW PA of all places
Dang, I think I saw Quiet Riot there too.....lol wtf...musta been hard times
Journey and Def Leppard - Journey rocked.....DL....eh.....left about 2/3 way thru their set. Joe was just trying WAY to hard to sing 🙁
On the other hand, saw DL for their 'Hysteria' Tour.....daggum that was a good time
Brian Adams/Eddie Money - Now THAT was a good one. You could close your eyes and think you were listening to Adams on the radio.

dang, I prolly just listed all the concerts I've ever been to lmao. Not too many, but it is what it is I guess

Edit- Elton John up in Canada somewhere (Toronto?) in the late 90's I think. Was pretty good, but we were so far back that the sound from his voice would arrive a couple seconds after you saw him sing the words on the JumboTron or whatever huge display was there lol

I'm going to be in Germany in June and NOFX will be playing only a 20 train ride away, but the wife wouldn't sign off. 🙁 They better play around here again soon or she will never hear the end of it from me.
