Last chance: 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 or 2021 iPad Pro 11

I know I posted about this before but price drops make a difference. For not taking/daily schedule planning would you go with the larger prior generation iPad or the smaller 2021 iPad 11? With a max budget of $800 the 2020 is now in my range ($650s refurbs)

Unless you need the bigger screen, I'd get the new iPad. The M1 chip is a beast.

Doubt it helps much, but go check it out in person? Although bigger is often better, I personally don't want to tote around a 12.9" tablet for my use cases (mostly reading). Too bad Apple didn't give the 11" Pro the new display tech; that would have cinched it.
