The only series that has really been able to do that to me was The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. I started with "Wizard's First Rule" and from the first page on, I could barely put it down. No book has ever done that to me before (and I'm not even a fantasy nut).

Yep, I've read those all. The Pillars of Creation though... was a bit disappointing. The last book I read was Tunnel in the Sky by Robert A. Heinlein. Re-read it for the third time... was horribly bored.
