I just finished 'The Last Vampire' by T.M. Wright. It was a damn good book. Definately not your typical vampire book.

I hate to admit it but I haven't read any books other than text books in a year or so. it was probably Tom Clancy.

On another note, my step daughter is a looker. She is blond an won a contest to be in a calendar. In the Bio section, one of the questions was "What is the last book you read?" She said, "Cosmopolitan". :)

You left out the KEY word. She is "Blonde" ;)

Last book I read was "Under Fire" by W.E.B. Griffen (SP) sucked

I'm reading "sleep no more" right now and so far I like it.

The Wounded Land by Stephen R. Donaldson.

Last three before that also by S.R.D.

One before that Centaur Aisle by Piers Anthony.

White Noise, by Don Delillo. An excellent and satirical look at the society we've constructed around ourselves. :)

It was my first Delillo novel, and I loved it. How was Cosmopolis?

Ever read Martin Amis at all? Their styles are similar, at least in the amount of satire dripping from the pages. ;)

Cosmopolis isn't one of his better ones - his style is getting pretty elliptical. luckily the book is short.

white noise, underworld, libra, and mao II are all really good.

If your question is what was the last book that I finished, I must say I don't even remember... at this point in life I oscillate between two books: Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged and Orson Scott Card's Xenocide... soon to start on a school-required book, John Steinbeck's East of Eden.
