My support for Chavez is for the extent to which he's trying to move the country from a terrible oligarchy with extreme concentration of wealth

Ah yes, with you it's _always_ about "the evil rich right-wingers" who apparently all care only about hoarding wealth

Craig is so blind to his own ideology he doesnt realize Chavez's regime has horded more wealth than any of the evil rich.

Double Trouble, by the way, I have been toying with the idea of a trip to Venezuela so I can see first-hand the situation, hear from the people there, poor and not so poor.

(I guess I sound a bit like Sean Penn doing that sort of thing - something he does that I like and see as good citizenship).

If you are right that it's a Castro-like culturs of government oppression - I'd be glad to know that and happy to say so and join opponents of Chavez. Haven't decided, though.

The view you have of yourself is immense. You have quite the ego.

btw Sean Penn drives a Hummer.

Craig you are making a fool of yourself.

Everything good about Chavez you believe and support.

Everything bad about Chavez you doubt. How many times do you question whether Double Trouble is providing an accurate account?

Do you even once question Chavez though?

And what I don't get about Craig and Sean Penn is the vitriol against any Republican about being against freedom and human rights without solid proof. And then support Chavez who is actually against freedom and human rights. It's astounding.

maybe we should overthrow his government with mass murdering drug lords like we tried to do in Nicaragua that will make the people love us
