I wouldn't do it if it were free and if I could wake up today a year later. I like my eyes as they are. I need to wear glasses for anything further than about a foot in front of my face, but if my eyes were set at infinity I'd have to wear glasses for anything closer. I'll take it as it is.
Why does everybody extrapolate their own experience to everybody. Yes, my statement's a case in point, i.e. not everybody, but it's so so common. A person will have a bad experience buying something and will say "I won't buy from that manufacturer again." Not very scientific.
