Fun!

I just found an old laser pointer, and thought I'd see what my cat's reaction to it would be. My cat was in a dark room, I shine the laser on the floor beside him and he immidiately notices it. I start twirling it around him and he starts chasing it. I then start moving it faster and faster, from floor to wall, he always follows it, throws himself at the wall....

Hilarious 😀

My dog loves to chase my laser pointer as well.

Hell, anytime I pull out my Canon G2, the opening chime plays...my dog will run over in anticipation of the red eye reducing pre flash so she can pounce on it...she LOVES chasing flashlights, laser pointers...pretty much anything.

Umm... Not a good idea, unless you want a blind cat. 🙁 All it would take would be to accidentally hit the cat's eyes with the beam.

i used to stare at the sun when i was small. i waited till my eyes adjusted to the brightness so i could see what it looked like.

my brother's friend shined a laser pointer into my eye for like 10 seconds when i was 12. i am not blind. am i lucky?

Cruel, but hilarious.

Not cruel at all. Cat's need exercise and are natural hunters. To have them indoors and not be able to hunt anything is cruel. That's why you play with them. 🙂

Our cats love the pointer, not that they need any particular reason to reenact the Indy 500 around the house once or twice a day.
