Laser level clearance $5.98 @ Lowe's B&M

I hope this isn't a repost. I stopped by the local Lowe's store to look at some things and found some Strait-Line Laser Level 120s on a clearance table near the back of the store - regular price $23.50 each, closeout price $5.98. Details:

Not a bad deal if someone needs a laser level. I bought one to use when I hang new siding on my garage this summer. The Lowe's product ID is 168504, FWIW. The store I stopped at, in Vienna, WV, had eight left after I bought mine. You'll have to supply two AA batteries. Great price for a laser level! :thumbsup:

I work for Lowe's. YMMV would definitely apply to things like this.

A lot of stores are clearing out nonstock/discontinued merchandise before the end of the fiscal year (ends Feb 2), so go into your local store and look for a deal. If it's on a clearance rack somewhere in the store, ask for a manager to see if they will take a lower price. On a lot of this type of merchandise they will, especially this time of year.

Yeah, I found these on my local Lowes clearance table "marked down to $23.50". Since I was there buying something else anyhow, I brought one to the counter and checked price.

me: "price check on this item please"
her: "$23.50"
me: "Oh, nevermind then...I had heard they were a lower price...something like $5.99"
her: "well, let me see....." after a few seconds of her punching the register...."they're discontinued"
me: "oh...so the price is $5.99?"
her: "Sure, why not...I can do that"


So that's it....$5.99 for a laser level....gonna be useful too.
