Laser Etching...anyone in this kind of work?

Friend of mine asked if I would be interested in starting a laser etching business with him, sounds like it has a lot of potential, but I don't know much about the equipment etc.

Anyone here familar with laser etching equipment? Pros and cons?

Whats his projected total startup costs, and your portion? Whats the share of hte profits? Are you the bank, and he's the the skill (where he does the stuff and you just share in profits)?

It will be both, we both put in and both do the work.

Start up costs? Not sure have not checked into it yet, he just brought it up tonight so we are at the "hey, I have an idea" stage....I will be definately doing more research before I take such a leap, but what I am more interested in is there anyone who has such experience working with this kind of equipment?
