He's funny in stand-up, but in movies it's just too fake. One of my favorite lines, from the Blue Collar Comedy Tour:

*the guys are sitting on stage telling stories. When no one is speaking, a woman yells out "I love you, Larry!"

He responds, "I told you to wait in the truck!"
